SIMULATION & MODELLING / INDUSTRIAL PLANTS

Modelling and simulation services in the field of industrial plants include the dynamic simulation of processes and of machines operation and control, which are necessary to verify their design. S.A.T.E. performs these activities by means of advanced proprietary software products (such as ACUSCOMP, ACUSYS, COMPSYS, MECHDYN).

Normally, the modelling and simulation activity consists in consultancy services provided to large companies, such as oil&gas companies, EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) contractors and constructors of high power machines for energy production (turbines), gas processing (compressors) or liquids pumping (pumps).

These are sometimes projects that last for years, such as the important and challenging simulation work undertaken for a renowned Norwegian oil&gas company for the liquefaction of natural gas (LNG).
